Workers' Welfare (AWO) is one of the six leading associations of independent welfare in Germany and stands for freedom, equality, justice, solidarity and tolerance. As an independent and independent member association, the AWO is committed to a democratic society based on solidarity and justice.
Uhura has designed, designed and developed a modern, responsive association website for the AWO Bundesverband e. V. The focus was on optimized usability (usability and accessibility) and an improved user experience.
The UX design optimizes page structure and navigation, and thanks to the revision of content types and thematic focal areas, both front-end and back-end users can find their way around much better.
Specifically designed and clearly structured landing pages for various target groups, such as people seeking help, volunteers or the press, ensure that external users can access the information they need quickly and easily. From AWO services and consulting services to projects and programs — all content is now clearly arranged and easy to understand.
In the design phase, the multi-stage design and development process of the website relaunch included internal tests, the implementation of the corporate website in various development sprints and also integrated content migration of four-digit pages.
