Uhura is relaunching the City of Berlin's Fashion Week portal www.fashion-week-berlin.com and providing editorial services for the online magazine and the social media channels Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
The central website for the more than 300 events will go online just in time for the upcoming Berlin Fashion Week in January. In addition, Uhura Creative Media is reorganising the online and social media editorial team and presenting articles, interviews, portraits and location information alongside the comprehensive schedule for Fashion Week Berlin. Uhura's concept prevailed over high-calibre agencies in a comprehensive tender presentation, with the decisive factors being the technology concept as well as the comprehensive communication concept for the digital channels and the integration of all stakeholders, such as Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, the various trade fairs and other events that are realised within a week.
Berlin Fashion attracts around 70,000 trade visitors every season, such as national and international journalists, buyers and designers. The result: around 5,000 newspaper reports and around 5,000 online articles. For Berlin as a fashion centre, Berlin Fashion Week means an additional economic benefit of up to 120 million euros per season.
