When it comes to bundling technical expertise in the IT sector, Berlin has long been a pioneer. Artificial intelligence, blockchain, Internet of Things, Industry 4.0 and digital security from the capital are on a high level by international standards and Berlin has been a recognized leader in this area for many years.
Since March, Uhura Digital has been managing the Deep Tech Berlin campaign on behalf of the Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises. The content campaign is intended to make the success stories of Berlin's deep tech scene visible and strengthen communication between the tech community.
As a highlight of the campaign, the Deep Tech Awards are presented once a year, which honors software and hardware solutions and products from established and young companies.
Based on a status analysis of previous communication measures, Uhura's campaign team developed a strategic realignment in order to better and more effectively interlink award and communication measures such as the website, social media communication and paid media measures.
In this way, the Uhura editorial team, together with experts from the tech scene, was able to create really relevant topic articles and insights and effectively distribute them in specific formats via social media and media collaborations. Campaign management now follows coordinated guidelines and goals and less ad hoc communication without content and visual recognition.
The presentation of the Deep Tech Awards on August 27 was a success despite the circumstances during the Corona pandemic. Uhura reacted quickly to the new framework conditions and evaluated technical solutions such as the use of the live stream to present the award ceremony in an attractive way. In preliminary and post-reporting, Uhura also adjusted the campaign elements and editorial planning to make the Deep Tech Award an industry highlight in 2021 as well.
