For over 140 years, the German Association for Public and Private Welfare (Deutsche Verein für öffentliche und private Fürsorge e. V.) has been the common forum for all stakeholders in social policy, social law and social work - non-partisan, ideologically neutral, professionally sound, practical and supported by a strong consensus.

We at Uhura conceived, designed and developed a modern and uniform look and feel for the new DV website. A particular focus was placed on optimizing the UI elements to maximize user-friendliness.

Equally important was the improvement of the information architecture: thanks to a better weighting and structuring of the content, optimized user flows and clear formatting, the services and the diverse work and offers of the DP are now faster and more clearly recognizable. The topic portal offers comprehensive information on socio-political and legal issues and conveys professionalism and practical relevance.

The website now also offers specific information and marketing opportunities for studies, specialist reports and events. It also aims to attract and retain members, with the improved member portal taking center stage. In addition to numerous other services, the revised store also offers a much more user-friendly purchasing process.
